TREATS: Three lakes and a lotta hills in East King County

Join us for a ride from Depot Park in Duvall on a 35 mile route at steady pace (14 miles/hr on flat terrain).

This ride will circle rural areas east of Duvall and visit Lake Margaret, Lake Joy and Lake Marcel.  The only portapotty after the start is at Lake Margaret.  There is no drinking water along the route and no commercial establishments until almost the end of the ride.  We will stop for a roadside "picnic" so bring a sandwich or other food and ample water.  The ride is hilly, but each rider can ride the hills at their own pace and we will regroup at the top of the climbs.  It's a beautiful, rural area and this time of year will be lush and green.  

Let's meet at the Depot Park and please be ready to ride at 10 AM. We will start with a required safety briefing, and roll out when that's done.  If you miss the briefing you will not be able to ride with the group.

We will climb and descend hills at our own pace, and our goal will be to regroup occasionally. 

Restrooms are available at the start. We will stop along the way for a self-catered picnic (no water or food to purchase).  Those who want can stop just before the end for coffee or more food.

Bring a spare tube and tools to fix a flat, just in case. Please have full fenders if the roads are wet, or you may be asked to ride at the rear of the group.

Note: If weather conditions meet the weather cancellation criterion listed above or if there are unforeseen hazardous riding conditions or other unexpected events, the Ride Leader will post a ride-canceled note in the Comments section below at least two hours prior to the start and Ride Leader(s) will not be at the start location.
