Are you ready for CTS #2?

Join us for a ride from the Bothell Park and Ride on a 41 mile route at Moderate pace, 14-16 mph.!

Have you signed up for CTS and are planning to ride the Moderate (Green) pace and want to see what it will be like, or gauge your fitness for the start of the series? This is a pre-ride of the second CTS ride for Green pace on 4/16. The ride is being offered to CTS riders but is open to everyone. Weather for forecast for Saturday may be for showers so be prepared with a rain jacket and fenders for the person behind you. Bring water and a rear light for your bike.This will also be a chance for you to ask questions about the series from others or the ride leaders.

Let's meet at the Bothell Park and Ride and be ready to ride at 9:30 am. We will start with a required safety briefing, and roll out when that's done.  If you miss the briefing you will not be able to ride with the group.

We will climb and descend hills at our own pace, and our goal will be to regroup where it is safe at the top of hills. We'll also limit our speed on any multi-use paths to the legal maximum (usually 15 MPH).

Restrooms are not available at the start, but we will stop just past mile 2 at Wilmot Gatway park. We can also stop along the way for restrooms/water at mile 11 at Marymoor Park.

Bring a spare tube and tools to fix a flat, just in case. Also have the route either printed or loaded on your computer and have a charged cell phone in case you have a mechanical issue that you need to call for a pickup. Please have full fenders if the roads are wet, or you may be asked to ride at the rear of the group.

Note: If weather conditions meet the weather cancellation criterion listed above or if there are unforeseen hazardous riding conditions or other unexpected events, the Ride Leader will post a ride-canceled note in the Comments section below at least two hours prior to the start and Ride Leader(s) will not be at the start location.
