Free Group Ride
Lake Sammamish Loop (PCC Community Market stop)
Ride Contact
Event has already happened.
Join us for a ride from Redmond's Idylwood Park on a 23.1 mile route at a Steady Pace (12-14 mph)!
From Idylwood Park, we'll take West Lake Sammamish Parkway past Vasa Park before we take a coffee break at PCC Community Market in Issaquah. Then we'll ride for a while on the East Lake Sammamish Trail, then on the road because of construction on the trail, and then back on the trail after Inglewood Road. We'll take the short way through Marymoor Park before finishing at Idylwood Park.
Let's meet in the Idylwood Park parking lot and please be ready to ride at 11:00am. We will start with a required safety briefing, and roll out when that's done. If you miss the briefing you will not be able to ride with the group.
We will climb and descend hills at our own pace (the ride leader is a slow climber himself), regroup at the top of the hill, and generally will stay together.
Restrooms are available at the start in Idylwood Park, and we will stop along the way for restrooms/water/coffee at PCC in Issaquah at mile 9.
Bring a spare tube and tools to fix a flat, just in case. Please have full fenders if the roads are wet, or you may be asked to ride at the rear of the group.
Note: If weather conditions meet the weather cancellation criterion listed above or if there are unforeseen hazardous riding conditions or other unexpected events, the Ride Leader will post a ride-canceled note in the Comments section below at least two hours prior to the start and will not be at the start location.
We hope you can join us!
