Free Group Ride
It's Springtime, Let's Ride!
Event has already happened.
Join us for a ride from Kenmore Park & Ride on a 40-mile route at a Moderate pace of 14-16mph. E-bikes are welcome!
The weather is looking great for a day on your bike so grab your trusty steed and join us for a nice ride and a chance to meet some new riding friends. This route will skirt Lake Washington before heading onward to Kirkland then have us arrive at Trek Redmond ready for snacks to refuel. We'll continue to Woodinville for a few more hills before relaxing on the last flat 5 miles.
Let's meet at the Kenmore Park & Ride and please be ready to ride at 10:00 am. We will start with a required safety briefing, and roll out when that's done. If you miss the briefing you will not be able to ride with the group.
We will climb and descend hills at our own pace, and our goal will be to regroup frequently. We'll also limit our speed on any multi-use paths to the legal maximum (usually 15 MPH).
Restrooms are not available at the start but if there is a need we can stop at O.O.Denny Park at mile 6.7. We will stop at Trek Redmond for snacks/restrooms/water at mile 22.
Bring a spare tube and tools to fix a flat, just in case. Please have full fenders if the roads are wet, or you may be asked to ride at the rear of the group.
Note: If weather conditions meet the weather cancellation criterion listed above or if there are unforeseen hazardous riding conditions or other unexpected events, the Ride Leader will post a ride-canceled note in the Comments section below at least two hours prior to the start and Ride Leader(s) will not be at the start location.
We hope you can join us!
