FRIDAY RIDERS: Two Trails and Kirkland Roads

Join us for a ride from Juanita Beach Park on a 22 mile route at leisurely pace at 10-12 MPH!

Enjoy a ride with a variety of terrain combining two trails and Kirkland roads with some hills. There is free parking and restrooms with flush toilets available at the start.

Leave Juanita Beach Park and head uphill on Kirkland roads leading to the downtown Kirkland waterfront. We will climb and descend hills at our own pace, and our goal will be to regroup occasionally. Cycle to the South Kirkland Park and Ride and uphill to the start of the trail.

We will cycle 5 miles on the flat compact dirt/gravel Cross Kirkland Corridor trail suitable for all tires. The group will break at Starbucks at Houghton Center for coffee and a social at mile 6.8.

Transition to the flat, paved and scenic Sammamish River trail and head north toward Bothell. There are restrooms and water available at Wilmot Gateway Park in Woodinville. From there cycle to Wayne Park Bothell and back on Kirkland roads to Juanita Beach Park and the start of the ride. 

Riders are responsible for their own equipment repairs. Please bring your own tools and spare tube to fix a flat. Bicycles need to be in good condition. Helmets are required!

Meet at 10:00 AM at the Juanita Beach Park parking lot to ready your bicycle, listen to a safety briefing, meet other riders and get route information. Online registration is required and provides legible contact information for you. If you change your mind please unregister. 

If weather is inclement check the comments section for ride cancellation notice. A notice will be posted 2 hours prior to meet time and the ride leader will not appear at the start.
