Free Group Ride
Friday Riders ride around the top of Queen Anne Hill
Ride Contact
Event has already happened.
Join us for a ride from the southeast corner of Rodgers Park on a 10 mile route at an easy pace(10 miles or under per hour). It's five miles around the Crown of Queen Anne Hill and we will circle it twice with a few changes. The Schitt's Creek holiday display should still be up this week and the view around the Hill and at Kerry Park are outstanding. An opportunity to explore the Hill without climbing it
Let's meet at the intersection of 1st Ave W and West Raye Street and please be ready to ride at 10 AM. We will start with a required safety briefing, and roll out when that's done. If you miss the briefing you will not be able to ride with the group.
While a relatively level ride, there are a few up and downs, and we will stay together. Restrooms not available at the start. We will stop along the way for the view and water at Kerry Park, 3 miles.
Bring a spare tube and tools to fix a flat, just in case. Please have full fenders if the roads are wet, or you may be asked to ride at the rear of the group.
Note: If weather conditions meet the weather cancellation criterion listed above or if there are unforeseen hazardous riding conditions or other unexpected events, the Ride Leader will post a ride-canceled note in the Comments section below at least two hours prior to the start and Ride Leader(s) will not be at the start location.
We hope you can join us!
