FRUMPS: Winter Edmonds Ride

Join us for a ride from Blyth Park on a 35 mile route at a Steady pace (12-14 mph)!

We will ride to Edmonds and Lynnwood from Bothell, on roads with more sedate hills than my summer version, but still some nice scenery!

Let's meet at Blyth Park.  If coming from the south, parking in the gravel lot at the Former Wayne Golf Course gets you within 0.3 miles of the start.  Just go through the tunnel and bear right across the bridge.  Please be ready to ride at 10:00am. We will start with a required safety briefing, and roll out when that's done.  If you miss the briefing you will not be able to ride with the group.

We will climb and descend hills at our own pace, and our goal will be to regroup frequently. 

Restrooms are available at the start. We will stop along the way for restrooms/water at Hickman Park (mile 11.5) and Evergreen Playfields (mile 27). We’ll also stop for coffee/food at Perrinville at mile 18 (two bakeries - see links below, Star Mini Mart & Deli, Fat Pig BBQ.  Pick your poison!)

Bring a spare tube and tools to fix a flat, just in case. Please have full fenders if the roads are wet, or you may be asked to ride at the rear of the group.

Note: If weather conditions meet the weather cancellation criterion listed above or if there are unforeseen hazardous riding conditions or other unexpected events, the Ride Leader will post a ride-canceled note in the Comments section below at least two hours prior to the start and Ride Leader(s) will not be at the start location.
