Sumner to Kent on a Chilly Sunday Morning

From the town of Sumner we will ride north to Kent where we will stop for a coffee break at Panera Bread in Kent Station before heading back. We will ride through Pacific, Algona and Auburn on our way to Kent mainly on roads and a bit on the Interurban Trail. On our way back we will ride along the scenic Green River as we pass through Auburn. 

Let's meet in the parking lot of the Sumner Fred Meyer store at 9:30 am for the pre-ride safety briefing and route review.  We will depart after the briefing.  IMPORTANT:  If you are not present and ready at 9:30 am when we start the safety briefing, you will not be allowed to participate. 

What to bring:  Supplies and tools to fix a flat, cell phone in case you cannot finish, water bottles, pocket snacks, money for lunch.

Restrooms: At the start and at the Auburn Walmart in the Outlet Collection Mall at mile 9.6, at our rest stop in the Panera restaurant at mile 15.5, and if needed at mile 21.5 Isaac Evans Park.

Cue sheet: Print a map and cue sheet from the Ride With GPS Route link below. 

Regroup:  We will regroup at the top of hills. Mechanicals will not stop the group. Have an alternate plan if you cannot finish the ride.

Cancellation Policy: In the event of a weather cancellation, it will be posted 2 hours prior to the start in the comments section below and the Ride Leader will not be at the start.
