Free Group Ride
Mostly Gravel, Fall City to Snoqualmie loop.
Event has already happened.
Join us for a ride from Fall City on a 28 mile route at steady pace (12 - 14 mph).
We will ride on rural roads from Fall City through farmland and marsh to Carnation and on a gravel trail to Snoqualmie. In Carnation we will enter John MacDonald Park to ride alongside the Tolt River to join the Snoqualmie Valley Trail to ride SE to Tokul Tunnel. We will descend Tokul Road to continue along the trail into Snoqualmie for a coffee break at the Black Dog Cafe. We will then retrace our route along trail to mile 26 where we take a gravel detour back to the start.
Let's meet at the Fall City Community Park and please be ready to ride at 10 am. We will start with a required safety briefing, and roll out when that's done. If you miss the briefing you will not be able to ride with the group.
We will climb and descend hills at our own pace, and our goal will be to stay together and regroup occasionally.
Porta pot available at the start and at approximately mile 15 on our ride. We’ll also stop for coffee/snacks at Black Dog Cafe at mile 20.
Bring a spare tube and tools to fix a flat, just in case. Please have full fenders if the roads are wet, or you may be asked to ride at the rear of the group.
Note: If weather conditions meet the weather cancellation criterion listed above or if there are unforeseen hazardous riding conditions or other unexpected events, the Ride Leader will post a ride-canceled note in the Comments section below at least two hours prior to the start and Ride Leader(s) will not be at the start location.
We hope you can join us!
