Lets Head to Wally's

Join us for a ride from The Puyallup Foothills Trailhead on a 39.8-mile route at Moderate Pace (14-16), UP to Wally's Drive-in for their famous Fall Pumpkin Pie Shakes! These tasty shakes are seasonal so you don't want to miss them!  We will enjoy the quiet trail up to South Prairie where we will take a short rest/bathroom break before heading up to Buckley for a scrumptious treat. Then we will all get to enjoy the easy downhill ride back to Orting while taking on the sights of the sun reflecting off the river and the backdrop of Mt Rainier

Let's meet at The Foothills Trail- East Puyallup Trailhead located just down the street from Farm 12 and please be ready to ride at 1:00PM. We will start with a required safety briefing, and roll out when that's done.  If you miss the briefing you will not be able to ride with the group.

We will climb and descend hills at our own pace, and our goal will be to stay together and we'll also limit our speed on any multi-use paths to the legal maximum (usually 15 MPH).

Restrooms are available at the start. We will stop along the way for restrooms/water at mile 15 in South Prairie. We’ll also stop for shakes/snacks at Wally's at mile 19.8.

Bring a spare tube and tools to fix a flat, just in case. Please have full fenders if the roads are wet, or you may be asked to ride at the rear of the group.

Note: If weather conditions meet the weather cancellation criterion listed above or if there are unforeseen hazardous riding conditions or other unexpected events, the Ride Leader will post a ride-canceled note in the Comments section below at least two hours prior to the start and Ride Leader will not be at the start location.
