Women & Non-Binary Only Ride around Woodinville!

Please note, this is a Women and Non-binary ride only. W&NB rides are only for individuals that identify as a woman or non-binary, including trans-gender women and cis-gender women. Male identifying riders can support this group best by finding other appropriate rides on the Free Group Rides calendar and leaving this space for W&NB riders.  

We are kicking off our new WNB rides from Sidekick Coffee in Woodinville! 

Join us for a ride from Sidekick on a 11 mile route at a Steady pace of 12-14 mph on the flats! We will stay mostly on the trails and low traffic roads and this ride has only a few small hills. Our goal will be to stay together. 

We welcome all to have coffee after the ride where we can talk everything cycling and Cascade's different rides programs.   

Please be in front of Sidekick Coffee promptly at 9:30 am and be ready to ride. We will start with a required safety briefing and then begin riding when that's done.  If you miss the briefing you will not be able to ride with the group.

If you are unsure of your pace or are a new rider, please contact me to determine if the pace would be appropriate. 

Restrooms may not be available at the start, but we will stop at Wilmot Gateway Park just 1/2 mile into the ride. 

If a rider has a mechanical issue, we will stop to assist the rider.  If there is a major mechanical issue preventing a roadside fix, we will ensure the rider has a safe means to return to the start or home. Bring a spare tube and tools to fix a flat, just in case.

Helmets are required.

If you don’t have full fenders and the roads are wet, or you may be asked to ride at the rear of the group.

Note: If weather conditions meet the weather cancellation criterion listed above or if there are unforeseen hazardous riding conditions or other unexpected events, the Ride Leader will post a ride-canceled note in the Comments section below at least two hours prior to the start and Ride Leader(s) will not be at the start location.
