Free Group Ride
**CANCELLED** TREATS: Sultan Pastry Ride
Event has already happened.
Escape the city traffic and join us on a picturesque, steady paced (12-14 mph), 36-mile ride along mostly scenic rural roads traveling from Snohomish, through Monroe, and over to Sultan where we'll enjoy pastry at the Sultan Bakery. On our return to Snohomish we will follow beautiful Ben Howard Road to Monroe where we will then retrace our path back to the start. Much of the route is a mixture of flats and low rolling hills. There are a few hills with a bit more grade sprinkled along the route, but they are short in length and we will regroup at the top.
Please be ready to ride at 10:00 when we will hold our required safety briefing then roll out. If you miss the briefing, you will not be able to ride with the group. An RWGPS link is posted below. If you want a cue sheet, please print one and bring it with you. Public restrooms and water are available at the start and at miles 9, 18, and 27.
Please bring a spare tube and tools to fix a flat, just in case. Please have full fenders if the roads are wet, or you may be asked to ride at the rear of the group.
If weather conditions meet the weather cancellation criterion listed above or if there are unforeseen hazardous riding conditions, the Ride Leader will post a ride-canceled note in the Comments section below at least two hours prior to the start and will not be at the start location.
We hope you can join us!
