Free Group Ride
Auburn - Enumclaw 46
Event has already happened.
Join us for a ride from Auburn on a 46.4 mile route at moderate 14-16 mph pace to Enumclaw and back.
It's a scenic ride with mostly low-traffic roads, rolling ranch and farm land, and a few short hills.
Let's meet at the Auburn Community and Event Center parking lot and please be ready to ride at 9:15. We will start with a required safety briefing, and roll out when that's done. If you miss the briefing you will not be able to ride with the group.
We will climb and descend hills at our own pace, and our goal will be to regroup as needed so that no one gets left behind. Ride leader will ride at a moderate pace of 14- 16 mph. Faster riders welcome to ride ahead but please regroup as appropriate.
Restrooms are available at the start. We will stop along the way for restrooms/water at the Black Diamond Bakery, mile 13. We’ll also stop for coffee/snacks at Enumclaw Starbucks at mile 28. Another optional restroom stop is at mile 36.
Bring a spare tube and tools to fix a flat or minor mechanical just in case. Bring a cell phone in case of breakdown. Please have full fenders if the roads are wet, or you may be asked to ride at the rear of the group.
Note: If weather conditions meet the weather cancellation criterion listed above or if there are unforeseen hazardous riding conditions or other unexpected events, the Ride Leader will post a ride-canceled note in the Comments section below at least two hours prior to the start and Ride Leader(s) will not be at the start location.
We hope you can join us!
