Free Group Ride
**CANCELLED** FRIDAY RIDERS: Skirting Bridle Trails
Event has already happened.
This ride is a repost from last month's rained out ride. Hopefully, we'll get to do it this time, weather permitting.
Join us for a ride from Juanita Beach Park on a 27 mile route at leisurely pace of 10-12 MPH!
Get on your bike and join me for a loop ride from Kirkland that skirts the Bridle Trails State Park and heads into Redmond for a coffee break and social. Return on the Sammamish River Trail and Kirkland roads. There are some hills so come prepared with lower hill climbing gears and a bike in good working order.
Let's meet at the Juanita Beach Park and please be ready to ride at 9:45 AM. We will start with a required safety briefing, and roll out when that's done. If you miss the briefing you will not be able to ride with the group.
We will climb and descend hills at our own pace, and our goal will be to regroup frequently.
Restrooms with flush toilets and water are available at the start. Parking is free. We will stop along the way for restrooms/water at miles 13.1. We’ll also stop for coffee/snacks at Bella Botega Starbucks at mile 13.1.
Bring a spare tube and tools to fix a flat, just in case. Please have a full water bottle and carry with you. Helmets are required!
Note: If weather conditions meet the weather cancellation criterion listed above or if there are unforeseen hazardous riding conditions or other unexpected events, the Ride Leader will post a ride-canceled note in the Comments section below at least two hours prior to the start and Ride Leader(s) will not be at the start location.
We hope you can join us!
