Log Boom Park Bothell Snohomish L & J Ice Cream and Espresso Loop

This is a scenic ride that loops from Log Boom Park in Kenmore and travels through areas of Bothell, Snohomish and the Snohomish River basin.

Please note: Registration for the ride (using the red “Register Now” button above) is REQUIRED to participate. If you decide not to ride, please unregister for this ride so that an additional spot will be made available to another.

Let's meet at Log Boom Park and please be ready to ride at 10:00 AM. We will start with a required safety briefing, and roll out when that's done. Note: All riders are required by the Cascade Bicycle Club to attend the pre-ride safety talk, failure to attend disallows participation.

Note: Log Boom Park is closed for renovations so we will meet on the sidewalk leading to the dock located off the entrance to the parking lot. 

Join us for a ride from Log Boom Park dock in Kenmore on a 55 mile route at Brisk pace 16-18 mph, with a total duration of approximately 4 hours including stops.

We will climb and descend hills at our own pace, and our goal will be to regroup at the top of hills. We will ride at a brisk pace. We'll also limit our speed on any multi-use paths to the legal maximum (usually 15 MPH).

Restrooms are available at the start. We can stop along the way for restrooms/water at mile 6 but only if needed.  We stop for coffee/snacks and restroom break at Juniper and Lu Ice Cream and Espresso  at mile 27, please wear a mask while inside the establishment.  Seating is available outdoors at the establishment and additional seating is available at the gazebo located at the park 100 feet away. 

Bring a spare tube and tools to fix a flat, just in case and be prepared to fix your own flat. Please have full fenders if the roads are wet, or you may be asked to ride at the rear of the group. If you need a cue sheet print one off from the route map link.  You need to download the route map onto your bike computer or smart phone. If you can't ride at the group pace you will need to ride on your own.

Note: If weather conditions meet the weather cancellation criterion listed above or if there are unforeseen hazardous riding conditions, the Ride Leader will post a ride-canceled note in the Comments section below at least two hours prior to the start and Ride Leader(s) will not be at the start location.
