Join us for a ride from Three Friends Fishing Hole on a 12 mile route along the Green River at an easy-going 10-12 mph pace! If you haven't been on your bike for a while or are new to biking, this ride is just what you need to get going.
We will have a good view of the Green River levee reconstruction project. The changes so far are quite impressive - lots of huge rocks and tons of dirt are being moved around. Here's a link to the project description:
Let's meet at the Three Friends Fishing Hole parking lot and please be ready to ride at 10:00. We will start with a required safety briefing, and roll out when that's done. If you miss the briefing you will not be able to ride with the group.
The hills on this route are minimal and will not cause the group to become separated. We will stay together. There is one very tight turn due to a construction detour. We can walk bikes through this point - it's a short distance.
Restrooms are available at the start. We will stop for a water break about halfway through the ride. We can also stop to take a look at levee construction from across the river on Frager Road.
Bring a spare tube and tools to fix a flat, just in case.
Note: If weather conditions meet the weather cancellation criterion listed above or if there are unforeseen hazardous riding conditions or other unexpected events, the Ride Leader will post a ride-canceled note in the Comments section below at least two hours prior to the start and Ride Leader(s) will not be at the start location.

- Riders under 18 years old require parental consent & approval from the Ride Leader.
