Free Group Ride
Eastside Hills #6
Ride Contact
Event has already happened.
Join us for a ride of a great route, starting from downtown Woodinville! The total distance will be 68 miles and we'll ride at a vigorous pace (18 - 20MPH) on the flats. We'll ride from Woodinville to Mukilteo, take in some fabulous views of Puget Sound, then head east along pleasant country roads to Snohomish and Monroe before returning to the start. This ride will give your legs a good workout and it should be fun.
Let's meet at the Woodinville Sports Fields Parking Lot and please be ready to ride at 8:00. We will start with the required safety briefing, and will roll out when it is done. If you miss the briefing you will not be able to ride with the group.
We will climb and descend hills at our own pace, and our goal will be to regroup at the top of each hill. We'll also limit our speed on any multi-use paths to the legal maximum (usually 15 MPH).
Restrooms are available at the start. We will have two stops for restrooms/water: one at Lighthouse Park in Mukilteo at mile 25 and one at the Safeway in Monroe at mile 49.
Bring a spare tube and tools to fix a flat, just in case. Please have full fenders if the roads are wet, or you may be asked to ride at the rear of the group.
Note: If weather conditions meet the weather cancellation criterion listed above or if there are unforeseen hazardous riding conditions or other unexpected events, the Ride Leader will post a ride-canceled note in the Comments section below at least two hours prior to the start and Ride Leader(s) will not be at the start location.
We hope you can join us!
