Woodinville-Lake Sammamish Loop

Join us for a ride from Woodinville on a 44.5 mile route at a moderate pace of 14-16 MPH

We will start along the Sammamish Trail to West Lake Sammamish Road where we will ascend up 172nd street into Bellevue with 1 short very steep climb along the way and eventually descend back to West Lake Sammamish.  We will stop at Lake Sammamish State Park for restroom and water stop.  We will continue for a short distance on the Lake Sammamish Trail and then ride on East Lake Sammamish Road into Redmond and stop at Perrigo Park for restroom and water stop. From there we will go through Redmond and Woodinville area and back to the start.

Let's meet at the Woodinville Sports Field Parking Lot at 8:45 AM for our pre-ride safety briefing, with a departure at 9:00 AM

We will climb and descend hills at our own pace, and our goal will be to stay together. We'll also limit our speed on any multi-use paths to the legal maximum 15 MPH

Restrooms, water and parking are available at the start. We will stop along the way for restrooms/water at miles 17.6 and 31.9. Please bring your lunch and snacks as we will not be stopping for coffee along the way

Bring a spare tube and tools to fix a flat, just in case. Please have full fenders if the roads are wet, or you may be asked to ride at the rear of the group.

Note: If weather conditions meet the weather cancellation criterion listed above or if there are unforeseen hazardous riding conditions or other unexpected events, the Ride Leader will post a ride-canceled note in the Comments section below at least two hours prior to the start and Ride Leader(s) will not be at the start location.
