Free Group Ride
Get On Your Bike: Redmond/Education Hill loop
Event has already happened.
Join us for a ride around Redmond on a 15.3-mile route at Leisurely pace (10-12mph)!
This is a beginner-friendly, no-drop ride going through Marymoor Park, along the Sammamish River Trail, up and down Education Hill, and back through Redmond.
Let's meet at the Lake Sammamish Trail parking lot (next to Whole Foods in Redmond) at 6:00pm for our pre-ride safety briefing, so we can depart at 6:15pm.
We will climb and descend hills at our own pace, regrouping frequently. There's one large (but not too steep) hill which everyone can climb at their own pace, and the group will wait at the top.
Restrooms are available at the start. No restroom stops are planned, but there are a couple places we can stop if needed.
Bring a spare tube and tools to fix a flat, just in case. Please have full fenders if the roads are wet, or you may be asked to ride at the rear of the group.
Note: If weather conditions meet the weather cancellation criterion listed above or if there are unforeseen hazardous riding conditions or other unexpected events, the Ride Leader will post a ride-canceled note in the Comments section below at least two hours prior to the start and Ride Leader(s) will not be at the start location.
We hope you can join us!
