Join us for a ride from 60 Acres Field, in the South Field Parking Lot on a 15.9 mile route at Steady pace (12-14 MPH)!
This ride features sections of the following trails: The Sammamish River Trail, Redmond Central Connector, Bear Creek Trail and the Puget Power Trail. These are all multi-use trails, and we will be mindful of trail safety and etiquette, so this is a social ride. We are not in a hurry!
Let's meet at the parking lot at 9:45 AM for our pre-ride safety briefing, with a departure at 10:00 AM.
There are no hills on this ride, which is almost entirely on trails, and our goal will be to stay together.
Restrooms are available at the start, but water is not, so please fill your water bottles before coming to the ride start. There are plenty of restrooms along the way, if needed, and we will stop for homemade cookies (made by Shaun's wife, Susan!) in Redmond, and a restroom break in Woodinville.
Bring a spare tube and tools to fix a flat, just in case.
Note: If weather conditions meet the weather cancellation criterion listed above or if there are unforeseen hazardous riding conditions or other unexpected events, the Ride Leader will post a ride-canceled note in the Comments section below at least two hours prior to the start and Ride Leader(s) will not be at the start location.
This is a mentored ride for Andra Luca, furthering her efforts to become a ride leader, so please show your support for her by coming to this ride!
