Face coverings (for mouth and nose) are required when the group makes extended stops. Face coverings are recommended for the duration of the ride. Please bring personal hand sanitizer, disinfecting wipes and tissues for use at rest stops.
We will observe current social distancing guidelines when off the bike, and strive to maintain at least 10-12ft separation between riders when on the bike.
This is a Ride4Fun! Adventure starting from Willis D. Tucker Community Park in Snohomish. After our departure from the Park, you will quickly delight in the beautiful and flowing course from the Willis D. Tucker Park to Mill Creek. On the way back, we will experience two short climbs to test our fitness. We will take a short break at mile 14 at the Mill Creek Sports Park. The route for this ride was perfected by Michael and Petra Silverstein – Thanks!.
Start Details : Let's meet at Willis D. Tucker Community Park, in the South-East Parking Lot at 9:45 AM for our pre-ride safety briefing, with a departure at 10:00 AM. Parking is free and plentiful at the Park. Bathrooms may be available at the start.
We will climb and descend hills at our own pace, and our goal will be to stay together. This is a social ride and nobody gets dropped. Under the Covid-19 Guidelines, each rider is responsible for their own mechanical issues. Please bring a spare tube and tools to fix a flat and to be prepared to find their own way home by printing out a cue sheet and bring a cell phone to call for a ride home.
Registration : Please sign an e-waiver by clicking on the “Register Now” button and enter your information. If you cannot make the ride, please cancel your registration so a spot can be freed up for someone else.
Expectations (important, please read!): Be ready to ride 15 minutes before the start of the ride to participate in the safety briefing. S.M.A.R.T. riding is the standard and all riders are held accountable for doing their best to adhere to these; we want to be awesome representatives of the bike community in Snohomish County and be safe!
Please have full fenders if the roads are wet, or you may be asked to ride at the rear of the group. Front and rear lights are also highly recommended!
All riders are responsible to promote a great experience by having a positive attitude and enjoying the beauty we are surrounded by – Ride4Fun!
Weather cancellation : Steady rain or other unsafe conditions cancels the ride. If the ride is canceled before 8:00 am, it will be posted in the comment section of the ride posting. In that case, the ride leaders will not be at the start.
We hope you can join us!
