Woodinville-Carn-Duvall Loop

Ride Description:  Join us for a scenic  somewhat hilly 52 mile ride from Woodinville thru the Snoqualmie Valley to Carnation where we will stop for coffee at Starbucks then on to Stillwater Hill and Cherry Valley Road to Duvall, up Woodinville Duvall road and back to the start. We will ride at a Moderate Pace of 14-16 MPH and regroup frequently. Climbs and descents are at each rider's own pace.  We will regroup at the top of hills, and occasionally, to make sure the group stays together. 

We will meet at the Woodinville Sports Fields for a 10:00 AM departure.  Parking is available at the start.  Please be ready 10 minutes before start time so we can do the safety briefing and get on the road.  Ride with GPS route map and cue sheet are at the Link, below.  If you want a cue sheet, please print it.  Bring ID; spare tube, tools, patch kit, pump, and skills to fix flats. Have a phone and a plan for rescue if your bike fails.  If roads are wet, roostertails from bare tires are a safety and comfort issue for other riders.  Fenders with long mudflaps are very highly recommended - otherwise you will be asked to ride at the rear of the group.

Restrooms and water are available at the start across the street at Wilmot Gateway Park.  In addition there are restrooms with no water at miles 12 and 23. There will be a 20-25 minute stop at mile 26 at the Starbucks in Carnation for coffee, water, food and restroom and a 5- 10 minute stop at mile 39 at the Shell Station convenience store for restrooms, water and food.

Please RSVP by clicking on the red "Register Now" button under the ride title above.  This will save time at the start.  NOTE:  I will print the ride waiver at 8:00 AM on ride day.  It's not a problem if you decide to participate after that time, and you can sign in at the start.    

The listed phone will not be answered on the morning of the ride and its voicemail will not be checked.  If weather conditions meet the "Showers cancel" criterion I will post a ride-cancelled note in Comments, below, at least 2 hours prior and not go to the start.  High winds, cold temperatures, icing, or other severe conditions also may cancel.  Please check here before leaving for the ride.
