FRIDAY RIDERS: Construction, Trails and Detours
Event has already happened.
There is NO pre-registration for this ride. Be sure to check the "Comment" section below on the day of the ride for changes and/or cancellations. This ride is not safe for children or beginners due to possible detours and road riding.
A recreational ride with road riding as well as on the trail. Because of 2 areas of construction we might have to take detours with traffic or change the route to a different area. Construction details on the trail change daily; the leader does have alternates in mind. Although we will cycle upgrades, there are no major hills. There will be a stop for a snack. If there might be showers or rain according to radar or weather reports, the leader will post a cancellation in the comment section below and will not be at the start. This ride is to let cyclists know the construction detours as at least one of them will last into summer.
To Drive to the start from I5 take exit 177 east toward Lake Forest Park and Kenmore (not Edmonds and the Ferry) Travel east on Ballinger Way/Hwy 104 until it meets Hwy 522 and turn left, then take the first right down a steel little hill and right into the park.
