Ride Contact
Event has already happened.
A beautiful, hilly, scenic route that features a 1 mile climb (196th), a 2 mile climb (Tiger Mountain) and rollers through wooded terrain. Jones Road gives you the impression that you're in Kentucky. Sweeny Road has sheep, alpacas, ducks, cows (all within fences) well not the ducks. Lunch stop is at S'wiched (see link below for menu) at mile 14.8. After lunch, we'll cruise through a Natural Area, and ride a 0.4 mile section of hard-packed gravel over the Cedar River to Dorre Don. There is a brief rest stop at Lake Francis Park (mile 24). Tiger Mountain is one of the classic climbs in King County with gradually descending curves through inspiring forest. Return is on Cedar Grove Rd and Cedar River Trail to the start. Rain during the ride could alter the route.
Water: Ron Regis Park at the start has a PortaPotty but no water. Bring 2 full water bottles.
