FRIDAY RIDERS

This ride starts and ends at Magnuson Park.  It heads south across the Mount Lake bridge then follows the canal on city streets heading West, around the southern part of Lake Union and continues to Ballard locks.  From there we will head East along the Burk Gilman trail working our way back to the starting point.  Check the link for the complete route. 

This is a Leisurely paced ride that begins at 10:00 A.M. with a safety talk. Sani cans at the beginning of the ride, other restrooms as needed and where they can be found.  I usually like to stop some where for refreshments but not sure where at this writing.  Bring some snacks just in case we don't fit it in.  

This ride is fairly flat but there will be some elevation gain in spots.  I will stop frequently as to not leave anyone behind.

You are encouraged to pre-register by clicking the red "Register Now" button above. There is no need to unregister if you decide not to ride.

Bring a spare tube and tools to fix a flat, just in case. Please have full fenders if the roads are wet, or you may be asked to ride at the rear of the group.

Note: If weather conditions meet the weather cancellation criterion listed above or if there are unforeseen hazardous riding conditions, the Ride Leader will post a ride-canceled note in the Comments section below at least two hours prior to the start and Ride Leader(s) will not be at the start location.
