It's that time of year to spread holiday cheer and give back to the community by making our food/cash donations to King5 Home Team Harvest. They will be at the Redmond Town Center collecting for families in need. We will start out on our bikes from Trek and make our donations at the town center, which is a few blocks away, so you won't have to carry your goods for too long. After having that feel-good moment where your heart grows 3 times its size, and perhaps meeting some of the King5 crew, we'll get a little exercise in by making the loop around Lake Sammamish. This ride will be the chance to show off your ugly holiday sweaters (that you personally really dig) and add so many lights to your bike that your last name should be Griswold. This ride is always a lot of fun! If you just want to join the fun without costume, you can ride along and laugh with us all! We will conclude the ride with a mini-social including warm drinks and treats hosted by Trek Bicycle Redmond.
If the weather outside is frightful, causing a ride cancellation, we will still meet at Trek Redmond, walk over to the town center as a group to make our donations and return to the store for a delightful social.
