No Place Like Gig Harbor for the Holidays!

So much going on in Gig Harbor for the Holidays! Let's go for an afternoon ride around the Harbor and be back in time for the night market at Seven Seas and tree lighting at nearby Skansie Brothers park. We'll met in front of Seven Seas at 1:45 pm for introductions and brief safety talk. Route on Ride with GPS below. 

There are a couple of hills on this ride - we'll take them at our own paces and regroup at the top. We will also regroup before turns if we get spread out. Pace is moderate - riders are expected to be able to sustain a 14-16 mph pace on flat, windless terrain for about two hours.  New riders welcome!  Click on  "read our newcomer information" above. Register for the ride by clicking the red "register now" button. If you are not a Cascade Bicycle Club member, please create a free account. Thank you for doing this beforehand -  riders who register on-line do not have to sign the waiver in person at the ride start and their information is already written clearly.  No problem if you register and end up not being able to join us. We will start the ride at 2 pm and will look forward to seeing you on a future ride if you are not there. 

Helmets are required for all participants on Cascade Free Group rides. It gets dark early, so please have front and back lights on your bike. Some other good things to have: WATER, a charged cell phone, a credit card and/or some cash, your ID, supplies to fix a flat (spare tube, pump, tire levers) snacks and fenders on your bike if roads are wet. Seven Seas has a nice bike rack -  a bike lock will come in handy if you want to hang out after the ride.  

Cancellation Policy: Steady rain cancels. If the ride is canceled, the cancellation will be posted in the comments section below before noon and ride leader will not be at the start.
