Come and join us this Saturday morning! Stay fit while enjoying the beauty and interesting sights in Snohomish County! Today's ride is 40 miles at vigorous pace (19mph)
This is a very diverse route with lots of views of mountains and waterways. We start heading north-east through Everett and dive into the Snohomish Valley. We continue along the Snohomish river, right next to the train tracks. Look for eagles! The route touches the cute city of Snohomish to go over the bridge so we get on the other side of the river. Restroom break at mile 13. We climb Fobes Hill and descent to Ebey Island. Then up the Hewitt Trestle into old town Everett. Along Grand Ave there are some pretty houses and great views. The rest stop is at mile 27 at The Loft Coffee Bar. Pack some good energy there as hills await. First up to Federal Avenue, then enjoy a general downhill to the Mukilteo Lighthouse. From there, we climb back roads until we are on the plateau for a few flat miles to get back to where this story began.
Port-a-potty at the start. Restroom break at mile 13 in Snohomish. Coffee at The Loft Coffee Bar at mile 27
