Event has already happened.
We will ride from Edgewater Park in Mount Vernon in a clockwise circle of the Skagit Valley visiting many country roads as well as the booming metropolises of Rexville, La Conner, Bayview, Edison and Bow. The ride is mostly flat and at the "steady" pace which is 12-14 mph.There's a strong chance we'll see migrating flocks that recently arrived in the Valley. We will stop briefly in La Conner and have lunch about halfway in Edison. Optional post ride stop at the Northsound Brewery near the start/finish. Restrooms are at 13, 18.2, 28 and 33 miles. Please pre- register if you get the time. You don't have to unregister if you don't go.
Bring a spare tube and tools to fix a flat just in case.
If weather conditions meet the weather cancellation criterion listed above, the ride leader will post a ride- cancelled note in the Comments section below at least 2 hours prior to the start and the ride leader won't be at the start location.
