Another Leisurely Ride to HI B3AR for Ice Cream
Ride Contact
Event has already happened.
What's better than ice cream in October? Rolled ice cream in October! Come join us for a ride that features ice cream (or if you're thinking savory, there's other options next door). We'll ride 26 miles at a leisurely pace (10-12 mph). Our ride will take us through Renton to Seward Park, up to the I-90 lid, then on the Mountains to Sound Greenway Trail to the International District. On the way back, we'll do a gradual climb up Beacon Hill, then drop back down on the Chief Sealth Trail. We will climb and descend hills at our own pace, and our goal will be to to stay together and regroup at the top of hills
Let's meet at the Renton Community Center at 9:40 a.m. for our pre-ride safety briefing, with a departure at 10:00 a.m. (Meet in the Northwest Corner Parking Lot near the restrooms). Restrooms are available at the start. We will also stop along the way for restrooms at Seward Park if needed.
You are encouraged to pre-register by clicking the red "Register Now" button above. There is no need to unregister if you decide not to ride.
Bring your helmet, a spare tube and tools to fix a flat, some food/water and cash for treats. Please have full fenders if the roads are wet, or you may be asked to ride at the rear of the group.
Note: If weather conditions meet the weather cancellation criterion listed above or if there are unforeseen hazardous riding conditions, the Ride Leader will post a ride-canceled note in the Comments section below at least two hours prior to the start and Ride Leader(s) will not be at the start location.
