Ten Hills of Kirkland CCW
Ride Contact
Event has already happened.
Here is a short, hilly ride for a potentially rainy day. This ride roughly follows the Seven Hills of Kirkland route, but in reverse. And with a few more hills. It should be a fun and challenging route. Because the route stays relatively close to the start we will have the option of heading back early if we get inundated with rain.
The starting location is the Kirkland Transit Center, between Peter Kirk Park and the library. There is four hours of free parking at the library. Water and a heated restroom are also available.
Our only food/water stop on this ride will be at the Hagan's Marker in Woodinville at about mile 26.
If you click the "Register Now" button on this page it saves you from having to sign in at the start of the ride. Also, it gives me an idea of how many people to expect. Please register at least two hours before the start of the ride.
Please plan on arriving at least 15 minutes before the start of the ride so you can get signed in, hear the pre-ride briefing, and be ready for an on-time start. All riders must be present for the briefing in order to participate.
Steady rain cancels this ride. If the ride is canceled due to weather, a notice will be posted in the comments 2 hours prior and the ride leader will not be at the start. Be sure to check back on this web site for weather updates if the weather is in doubt. Please bring long fenders if the roads are wet or rain is in the forecast.
What to Know Before You Go
- Advance registration required. Cancel if unable to attend, to open space for others.
- Must be present at safety briefing to participate.
