Gas Works to Golden Gardens 14 miles

Join us for a ride from Gas Works Park on a 14 mile route at a Moderate Pace (14-16mph) to Golden Gardens!

This will be a short little trail ride on the Burke Gilman Trail with the exception of "the gap" in Ballard and a short excursion up to Cafe Fiore in the middle of the ride.

Let's meet at the Gas Works Park at 1:45pm for our pre-ride safety briefing, with a departure at 2:00pm.

We will regroup frequently as necessary if we get separated and will also limit our speed on the Burke Gilman Trail to 15mph.

Restrooms are available at the start. We will stop at Golden Gardens for a quick picture, water, and restroom break at mile 6 before an OPTIONAL climb to Cafe Fiore before returning to Gas Works Park the way we came. 

After the ride, we'll likely head over to Essential Baking Company or Sea Wolf Bakery, both about 3-6 blocks from Gas Works. 

You are encouraged to pre-register by clicking the red "Register Now" button above. There is no need to unregister if you decide not to ride.

Bring a spare tube and tools to fix a flat, just in case.

Note: If weather conditions meet the weather cancellation criterion listed above or if there are unforeseen hazardous riding conditions, the Ride Leader will post a ride-canceled note in the Comments section below at least two hours prior to the start and Ride Leader(s) will not be at the start location.
