TREATS: RSVP Recovery Ride - Foothills Trail to Wally's and Back

Join us for a ride from the Foothills Trail - East Puyallup Trailhead on a 38 mile route at Steady Pace (12-14 MPH)

This mostly flat and scenic route will be a great Post-RSVP recovery ride entirely on the scenic Foothills Trail. The trail offers views of Mt Rainier and the picturesque communities of Orting, South Prairie and Buckley. Our turnaround point will be Wally's in Buckley, where we can grab a bite and one of their famous milkshakes before retracing our route back.

Let's meet at the East Puyallup Trailhead on the Foothills Trail at 9:50 am for our pre-ride safety briefing, with a departure at 10 am. Since this route is flat, we will stay together and limit our speed to the legal max of 15 MPH. 

Restrooms are available at the start. We will stop along the way for restrooms/water at miles 7, 14, 24, 31. We’ll also stop for snacks, water and restrooms at Wally's Drive-In at mile 19.

You are encouraged to pre-register by clicking the red "Register Now" button above. There is no need to unregister if you decide not to ride.

Bring a spare tube and tools to fix a flat, just in case. Please have full fenders if the roads are wet, or you may be asked to ride at the rear of the group.

Note: If weather conditions meet the weather cancellation criterion listed above or if there are unforeseen hazardous riding conditions, the Ride Leader will post a ride-canceled note in the Comments section below at least two hours prior to the start and Ride Leader(s) will not be at the start location.
