Start location & Parking: Hanger at Kenmore Town Square - Parking is on the street or in the parking lot in back of the Hanger as we will stop on the way back for coffee and conversation. There is a rest room at the start.
Invitation and Route: Ladies, make your day count - let's have a good workout, afterwards enjoy coffee or something else of your liking, at the Hanger in Kenmore - and still be done with it all before lunch! On this route we will head south over Juanita Dr, through Kirkland, ride along Lake Washington, pedal over the longest floating bridge (a.k.a.the 520 bridge), through the UW sports campus and check out the Cascade Bicycle Club's HQ to use the facilities and fill up our water bottles. Then Sandpoint takes us a ways up north and we finish with a lovely down hill on Perkins Way. Bring a friend or come solo and make new friends!
See the link below for a RideWithGPS downloadable route map with printable cue sheet. If you want a cue sheet, please print one using the route link as copies will not be available at the ride start.

Pace: The listed pace is based on the flats, with no headwind, and at your own pace up hills. We will regroup regularly. Ladies, you don't have to be a fast climber to join in this group, this is not a race! We are here to encourage and empower one another to get stronger. As long as you can confidently ride at the posted pace on the flats, don't worry about the rest. We will wait to give all riders a chance to catch a breath before continuing. When using designated bicycle trails we will observe the posted speed limit. If you have any personal concerns about the pace or climbing please email Dorothé at the email address listed.
Mechanicals: The group will stop for flats. Bring tools and knowledge to repair flats, and a plan ie: Orca card, or a friend/Uber to call you have a serious mechanical failure or choose to not repair your flat roadside.
Recommended: Mirrors and lights are highly recommended by the ride leader to keep yourself and your riding buddies safe and seen. Fenders and buddy flaps are appreciated if rain is in the forecast.
Ride Cancellation: In the event of a weather cancellation a notice will be posted in the comments on this page at least two hours before the ride start and ride leader will not be at the ride start location.
