A Leisurely Stroll to Madison Park
Ride Contact
Event has already happened.
Come join Jaime and me for another great ride from Renton to Madison Park. This is a leisurely paced ride (10-12mph on the flats without wind), and folks can climb hills at their own pace. We will regroup at the top of hills and make every effort to stay together. However, all riders are encouraged to have an Orca Card or a pick-up if you need a bailout option and/or have mechanicals that cannot be fixed safely.
This ride has a couple gentle climbs, with a nice Starbucks stop at the mid-point. We will start in Renton, stop at Seward Park if needed, and then enjoy treats in Madison Park. This ride will be an out and back route, so we'll return the same way we ride out. Grab your bike and helmet, bring some water, a spare tube(s), tools, some money for treats, and join Jaime and me for a great day of biking.
** The restrooms may be closed at the start ** Please plan ahead. If the ride is canceled, it will be written in the comment section below two hours before the start, and the Ride Leader will not be there. Please arrive 20 minutes before the start time to ready your bike and listen to the S.M.A.R.T talk. We'll roll out right at 9:00 am.
