Friday Riders--North Lk Washington Loop

Join me for a ride from Magnuson Park on a 27 mile route at a leisurely pace which is between 10 to 12 MPH.

We head north around Lake Washington on the Burke Gilman Trail to Wayne Golf Course.  Then onto streets heading south through Kirkland to the 520 trail.  From there we turn west toward Seattle and back to Magnuson Park.

Let's meet at the Sports Field parking lot by 10:30 A.M. for our pre-ride safety briefing, with a departure after the briefing. Come early enough to be ready for the safety talk which I will start at 10:30 A.M.

We will climb and descend hills at our own pace, and our goal will be to stay together.   

Restrooms are available at the start (portapots). We will stop along the way for restrooms/water wherever available and needed. We’ll also stop for coffee/snacks, probably at the Starbucks, Carillon Point. 

You are encouraged to pre-register by clicking the red "Register Now" button above. There is no need to unregister if you decide not to ride.

Bring a spare tube and tools to fix a flat, just in case. Please have full fenders if the roads are wet, or you may be asked to ride at the rear of the group.

Note: If weather conditions meet the weather cancellation criterion listed above or if there are unforeseen hazardous riding conditions, the Ride Leader will post a ride-cancelled note in the Comments section below at least two hours prior to the start and will not be at the start location.
