Event has already happened.
They're back!!! The Blues are back. We'll ride from the Newport Hills P&R over the East Channel bridge and do a lap of Mercer Island before arriving at a prime viewing area roof deck. NOTE: The show is moving slightly to the South this year so that the bridge can stay open. This may make the view worse - or possibly better than previous years. After the show we'll return to the starting point. Coffee and cold water will be provided but bring your own snacks.
Fair warning: This ride is more about the Blues than the cycling. Your non riding significant other is welcome to join us to watch the show, but parking might be problematic. Contact ride leader for location.
Pace is moderate;14-16 MPH on flat; slower uphill and faster down. Please arrive 15 minutes early to hear ride and safety briefings, as we plan to depart on schedule. No restrooms or water at start, but we will stop at Newport Hills Park at about mile 1.
Preregister by clicking the red Register Now button above. Preregistering saves time at the start and allows me to contact you in case of a change. There is no need to unregister if you decide not to ride.
In case of ride cancellation, I will post a notice in the comments below at least two hours in advance and will not be at the start.
What to Know Before You Go

- Must be present at safety briefing to participate.
- Helmets required.
- Riders under 18 years old require parental consent & approval from the Ride Leader.
