Mercer Island to Madison Park Loop

Join us for a ride from the Mercer Island Park & Ride to the UW Arboretum.  A 28.3 mile route at a Steady pace of 12-14 mph!

The ride will start with a clockwise loop around Mercer Island and then head across the I-90 bridge for a coffee and snack break at the Starbucks in Madison Park.  We will then check out the summer foliage in the UW arboretum before heading back.

Let's meet at the Mercer Island Park & Ride at 10:00 am for our pre-ride safety briefing, with a departure at 10:10 am.  Arrive early enough to ready your bike and sign the ride waiver.

We will climb and descend hills at our own pace, and our goal will be to stay together and regroup at the top of any hills.  We'll also limit our speed on any multi-use paths to the legal maximum (usually 15 MPH).

Restrooms ARE NOT available at the start. The first stop along the way for restrooms is at mile 12.  We’ll also stop for coffee/snacks at Starbucks at mile 18.

You are encouraged to pre-register by clicking the red "Register Now" button above. There is no need to unregister if you decide not to ride.

Bring a spare tube and tools to fix a flat, just in case. Please have full fenders if the roads are wet, or you may be asked to ride at the rear of the group.

Note: If weather conditions meet the weather cancellation criterion listed above or if there are unforeseen hazardous riding conditions, the Ride Leader will post a ride-canceled note in the Comments section below at least two hours prior to the start.
