Boren Park, Hitt's Hill Park & Mt. Baker

Join us for a 24.5 mile, 1780' elevation gain as we bike through the neighborhoods of Capitol Hill, Columbia City, Mt. Baker and Madrona.  Along the way, we will visit Boren Park, Hitt's Hill Park, Mt Baker Park, Madrona Park, Denny Blaine Lake Park, Interlaken Park, and see the house that actress Clara Bow (the "It Girl" in 1927) lived in.  There will be two easy sets of stairs that will require short carries for the bicycles, and we will have several steep streets that we will be ascending during the ride.   

Afterwards, we'll head to the Nickerson Street Saloon for food, drinks and socializing for those interested.  

Please make sure to arrive at least 15-20 minutes before the start time to get your bike set up, sign the waiver, and to listen to the safety talk.

The ride leaders will not be at the ride start should conditions be as noted in “Showers Cancels” above.  The ride leader will announce the cancellation in the comments section below at least 2 hours prior to the ride start and will monitor my phone and/or email listed in the contact information.
