**Note** This route contains 3 short gravel sections rideable on 25 mm road tires.
Join us for a ride from Twin Lakes Park & Ride in Federal Way on a 52 mile fun scenic route Exploring Federal Way at Brisk Pace 16-18 MPH on the flats with no headwind!
This route has fun climbs, exhilarating fast downhills, rolling hills and rolls thorough rural country roads.
Let's meet at the Twin Lakes Park & Ride at 8:45 am for our pre-ride safety briefing, with a departure at 9:00 am sharp.
We will climb and descend hills at our own pace, and our goal will be to stay together. We'll also limit our speed on any multi-use paths to the legal maximum (usually 15 MPH).
Restrooms are NOT available at the start. We will stop along the way for restrooms/water. Mile 19 Edgewood Community Park porta-john, Mile 26.7 Five Mile Lake Restroom and water stop, Mile 32.3 Lake Geneva Park porta-john restroom. Mile 32.7 water and snacks 7-Eleven
You are encouraged to pre-register by clicking the red "Register Now" button above. There is no need to unregister if you decide not to ride.
Bring a spare tube and tools to fix a flat, just in case. Please have full fenders if the roads are wet, or you may be asked to ride at the rear of the group.
Note: If weather conditions meet the weather cancellation criterion listed above or if there are unforeseen hazardous riding conditions, the Ride Leader will post a ride-canceled note in the Comments section below at least two hours prior to the start and Ride Leader(s) will not be at the start location.
