For a short evening ride,we'll bike over the Cedar River on the trail, and ride Maxwell and Jones Roads on return.  This ride is mostly flat.  There are a few gentle rollers on Maxwell and Jones Roads. Restrooms and water are available at the start.  Please arrive a few minutes early to get your bike ready and hear the safety briefing.  Bring a spare tube and pump in case of a flat tire.  Note that we observe the speed limit on multi-use trails.  The speed limit on the Cedar River Trail is 10 mph within Renton city limits, and 15 mph outside the city limits.

Terrain indicates the most common or average terrain type of the ride and should be considered relative to the length and overall difficulty of the ride. For example, a long-distance ride with a lot of elevation gain will be overall less challenging than a short ride with equal elevation gain. Consider the pace and frequency of regroup as well to understand how advanced a ride may be.

  • Mostly flat: Trails and/or mostly flat roads with a possible gentle uphill
