Event has already happened.
Please come and join me this Thursday morning for a bike ride with a coffee stop. We will start in the town of Sumner from the Fred Meyer parking lot and head north to Kent. Our stop will be at the Starbucks on Fourth and West Meeker. After enjoying a coffee and pastry we will head back to Sumner.
Please arrive at least 15-20 minutes before the ride start at 9 AM so you can get your bike and yourself ready and hear the S.M.A.R.T. talk (safety briefing).
Restrooms are at the start inside the Fred Meyer store.
New riders are welcome, but please review link below. Riders should be able to maintain the pace and know how to change a flat tire (and carry the equipment to do so).
Come prepared to fix flats and have a plan for dealing with mechanical issues. Generally the group will not wait for flats/mechanical issues so make sure you know the route or have printed a CUE sheet.
Please register for the ride by clicking on the red Register Now button at the top of this page, click the waiver release box, complete the Emergency Contact Number, and click on Save. By doing this you will save time at the ride start. If you are unable to attend you do not need to "un-register."
What to Know Before You Go
- Advance registration required. Cancel if unable to attend, to open space for others.
- Must be present at safety briefing to participate.
- Helmets required.
- Riders under 18 years old require parental consent & approval from the Ride Leader.
