Event has already happened.
Join us for a fun ride from Kubota Garden to Golden Gardens with a few gardens in between. We'll start with a quick check of Kubota Garden, then climb Beacon Hill on the Chief Sealth Trail. Then we'll head through the International District to the Seattle Waterfront to the Ballard Locks. From there we'll make our way along Shilshole Bay to Golden Gardens. On our return, we will have a lunch stop in Ballard, cruise the Burke Gilman Trail to the U District, ride through the Arboretum, then along Lake Washington to Seward Park before returning to Kubota Garden.
Please arrive a few minutes early to set up your bike and hear the route and safety briefing. A port-a-potty is available at the start, but there is no water, so be sure to come prepared with water, a spare tube, and a pump in case of flat.
There is ample parking just outside Kubota Garden. The park personnel ask that we do not park in their lot.
What to Know Before You Go
- Advance registration required. Cancel if unable to attend, to open space for others.
- Must be present at safety briefing to participate.
- Helmets required.
- Riders under 18 years old require parental consent & approval from the Ride Leader.
