Clip Toe Through The Tulips

Join us for a ride from Mt Vernon on a 31 mile route at 12-14 MPH!

It's time to stop and smell the tulips! This will be a social ramble through the tulip fields and farms with plenty of stops for photos. The tulips should are in full bloom but daffs will probably be gone. We'll ride from Mt Vernon to La Conner for a quick lunch passing a few flower fields along the way, but most of the tulips will be after lunch. Every year, it seems that the free tulip viewing sites get fewer so we may stop at either Tulip Town or Roozengaarde which charge an entrance fee. If so, it will be worth it so bring a couple of extra bucks - and bring something to scrape the mud out of your cleats! And of course bring your camera. We may also get a chance to see and photograph Snow geese, Trumpeter swans and miniature donkeys so cute you'll want to take one home.

Let's meet at the Edgewater Park at 10:45 for our pre-ride safety briefing, with a departure at 11:00.Restrooms are available at the start.

You are encouraged to pre-register by clicking the red "Register Now" button above. There is no need to unregister if you decide not to ride.

Bring a spare tube and tools to fix a flat, just in case. Please have full fenders if the roads are wet, or you may be asked to ride at the rear of the group.

Note: If weather conditions meet the weather cancellation criterion listed above or if there are unforeseen hazardous riding conditions, the Ride Leader will post a ride-canceled note in the Comments section below at least three hours prior to the start and Ride Leader(s) will not be at the start location.
