Magnuson Park to Seward Park and Back

This ride takes us through Magnuson Park, along the Burke-Gilman, behind Husky Stadium and across the Mountlake Bridge.  We'll wind our way through lovely Seattle neighborhoods then travel along Lake Washington Boulevard. Prepare to be dazzled by views of Lake Washington.  There is no food stop on this ride. We will stop at Seward Park for a restroom break and to refill water bottles, then return to Cascade Bicycle Club.

Ride Notes:  All riders should bring ID; spare tube, tools, patch kit, pump, and skills to fix flats; a phone and a plan for rescue if your bike fails; and snacks and water. There is no food stop on this ride. Waiting for mechanical issues will be at the discretion of the ride leader. It’s spring, so please dress appropriately and use fenders with long mudflaps on your bike if there are wet roads.   Please arrive at least 20 minutes early (9:40 a.m.) to get yourself ready, listen to the safety briefing and sign or check the waiver. 10:00 a.m. is roll-out time!

Pre-registering online: If you have a Cascade account, you can pre-register for this ride online by clicking on the Register button at the top of this page and entering your information. Pre-registering saves time at the beginning the ride and provides legible emergency contact information. If you cannot make the ride, you do not need to un-register. Riders without a Cascade account can register at the ride start.

In addition to occasional showers, ice/snow and any other hazardous conditions will cancel a ride. If a ride is canceled, a notice will be posted here, in the comments section below, by 8:00 a.m. on the day of the ride.  If that notice is posted, the ride leader will not be at the start.
