Join us for a fun scenic ride from Magnuson Park down the Burke-Gilman Trail and across Lake Washington on the 520 bridge. We will stop at the east end of the bridge for a photo op then continue around Medina before returning to the bridge and back to Seattle. This is a steady pace ride. We will regroup at the top of hills. The ride will start in the parking lot just below Cascade Bicycle Club. There are restrooms at the start. Newcomers are welcome.
We will stop at Medina Beach Park at mile 9.5 for a quick snack and a bathroom break. Bring your food to the ride as we will not be stopping to purchase food.
Ride Notes: All riders should bring ID; spare tube, tools, patch kit, pump, and skills to fix flats; a phone and a plan for rescue if your bike fails; and snacks and water. Waiting for mechanical issues will be at the discretion of the ride leader. Please arrive at least 20 minutes early (9:40 a.m.) to get yourself ready, listen to the safety briefing and sign or check the waiver. 10:00 a.m. is roll-out time!
If there are occasional showers, the ride leader will cancel at or before 8 AM and post the cancellation on the Cascade website.
Pre-registering online: If you have a Cascade account, you can pre-register for this ride online by clicking on the Register button at the top of this page and entering your information. Pre-registering saves time at the beginning of the ride and provides legible emergency contact information. If you cannot make the ride, you do not need to un-register. If you do not have a Cascade account, you can sign the paper waiver at the start.
What to Know Before You Go

- Riders under 18 years old require parental consent & approval from the Ride Leader.
