Event has already happened.
This ride is an out-and-back to Kirkland the via the Burke-Gilman Trail and the 520 bridge with some urban street riding in Kirkland. We will stop in Kirkland for coffee and/or a snack. The leader will maintain the published pace on level ground and will ride more slowly on the (few) hills.
If a ride is canceled due to rain or hazardous conditions, a notice will be posted here, in the Comments section below, by 8:00 AM on the day of the ride. If that notice is posted, the ride leaders will not be at the start.
Ride Notes: All riders should bring ID; spare tube, tools, patch kit, pump, and skills to fix flats; a phone and a plan for rescue if your bike fails; and snacks and water. Waiting for flat tire repair or mechanical issues will be at the discretion of the ride leader. Dress appropriately and use fenders on your bike if the roads are wet. Please arrive at least 20 minutes early (9:40 AM) to get yourself ready, listen to the safety briefing, and sign or check the waiver. 10:00 AM is roll-out time!
The route is posted below. Restrooms and water at the start and in Kirkland.
