Event has already happened.
No cue sheet needed - this is a stay together ride on the trail or roads near the trail
This is a simple ~47 mile ride to Snohomish and back on the Centennial Trail (mostly) with perhaps a few little-known side roads to keep things interesting. Our goal will be to stay together. We will limit speed to 15mph when on multi-use paths. Bring adequate water and nutrition for a 3hr ride though we will have a chance to stop at the halfway point. Be prepared for weather changes. Please check your tires and bike condition before leaving home. Bring at least 2 new tubes, tire levers, a patch kit, and a pump or CO2 cartridges.
62 mile option - If you want to complete 100km (approx. 62.13711922mi but lets round it to 62.2) simply stay on the trail for 8 miles up to the Trail end at Nakashima Barn and return to the start. The Ride Leader may do this option depending on conditions.
Registration: Your registration on the Cascade Bicycle Club's website is much appreciated. Sign in to your (free) account, then register.
Expectations (important, please read!): Arrive at least 10 minutes before the start of the ride to be part of the safety briefing. S.M.A.R.T. riding is the standard and all riders are held accountable for doing their best to adhere to these; we want to be ambassadors of the bike community in Snohomish County and be safe! Front and rear lights are highly recommended! Riders should be able to maintain the pace. Riders have to be independent when they have a flat and/or mechanical though we will stop together and help if possible. Please print a cue sheet in case you get separated from the group. All riders are responsible to promote a great experience by having a positive attitude, having fenders when the roads are wet or rain is in the forecast, enjoying the beauty we are surrounded by and just by having fun! Rain or other unsafe conditions cancels the ride. If the ride is canceled by 07:00 am, it will be posted in the comment section.
Check for Route updates the day before ride.
