Tuesday Pie Ride
Event has already happened.
Everyone loves pie! The Northshore Senior Center has lots to choose from! Join a leisurely paced - out and back paved trail ride from the Red Brick Road Park in Kenmore (near Wayne Golf Course) along the Sammamish River Trail to Redmond. Free parking at the trail head. Restrooms available in 1/4 mile at Blythe Park along the trail. We will stop for 20 minutes at the Starbucks in the Redmond Town Center for a rest, social, and food break - bring money or snacks.
Return on the trail with a stop in Bothell at the Northshore Senior Center for pie. Bring $2.50 CASH for a slice of pie; coffee and ice cream are an addition .50 each.
Meet at the Red Brick Road Park by 10:40 AM to sign the waiver, listen to safety briefing, and meet other riders. Alternatively, free parking is available at the old Wayne Golf Course. There is also a sani-can in the Wayne Golf Course parking lot. Please bring a spare tube, patch kit and pump to change your own flat tire. Dress appropriately for the weather in layers that can be added or removed. Helmets are required!
If the weather is inclement check below in the comments section. The ride may be cancelled 2 hours prior and the ride leader will not appear at the ride start.
Pre-registration is encouraged and saves you time at the ride start. If you have a Cascade account you may register online by selecting the 'register now' button at the top of this posting. If your plans change you do not need to unregister. You are also welcome to sign in at the start.
What to Know Before You Go
- Advance registration required. Cancel if unable to attend, to open space for others.
- Must be present at safety briefing to participate.
- Helmets required.
- Riders under 18 years old require parental consent & approval from the Ride Leader.
