Kent - Green River - Interurban

This is an easy, flat route that follows the Green River Trail north from Hogan Park in Kent, then heads south on the Interurban Trail back to the start. If you need an excuse to get out out of the house for a little while on the 25th, this is it! Ample parking at the start.

This is a stay-together ride at the 10-12 mph pace. Heavy rain or icy conditions will cancel, but light rain is OK. If the route has too much debris (tree branches, mud, etc.) the ride will be canceled the day before in the afternoon.

Please arrive early enough to unload your bike and be prepared to leave at 09:30 am sharp after the SMART briefing.

Please RSVP by clicking on the red "Register Now" button under the ride title above, then check the box for "Waiver Signature". This will save us time at the start. Note that the on-line RSVP requires a Cascade Bicycle Club account, which is easy to set up and it's free, but if you don't want one of those just come anyway and sign the hard-copy attendance/waiver sheet. 

The listed phone will not be answered on the morning of the ride.  If weather conditions meet the heavy rain or ice criteria, I will post a ride-canceled note in Comments, below, at least 2 hours prior and not go to the start.  If the weather looks iffy, please check here before leaving for the ride.

Note: The restrooms at Hogan Park are closed and locked for the winter.  Restrooms are available at the Van Doren Landing Park, about the two mile point.
